The Virginia-Maryland Regional College of Veterinary Medicine (VMRCVM) has three campuses: Blacksburg, VA – Main campus at Virginia Tech; Leesburg, VA – Marion duPont Scott Equine Medical Center; College Park, MD – University of Maryland. The Marion duPont Scott Equine Medical Center sits on 200 acres and includes 100,000 square feet of facilities with 51 stalls, including 5 intensive care stalls, 8 isolation stalls, a treadmill building, farm equipment and hay storage facilities. The hospital includes 2 surgical suites, 2 radiology suites, a clinical laboratory, necropsy facility, a treadmill, video laboratory, farrier facilities, and pharmacy. A 2500 sq. ft. research laboratory designed for molecular and cell based research with an associated 12-stall research barn is part of the campus.
