We understand that you are at your best if you can take time for yourself, your family, and students!

Do you feel like taking a break? …go for a walk along our white Caribbean beaches during lunch break or do some snorkeling in crystal clear water just opposite your office?
Enjoy Islands life: very safe & "Cayman kind" at a nice pace, beach life, water sports, great community, easy and short commutes, high-end sustainable lifestyle, excellent schooling and sports for kids, great restaurants.

Are you interested in joining our small faculty team, teach in small class sizes, in a family-like environment?
We are currently looking for full-time veterinary faculty who are passionate about teaching one or more of the following courses: Clinical Skills, Pathology, Clinical Pathology, Anesthesiology, Avian and Exotic Animal Medicine, and Toxicology.

The ideal candidate possesses a DVM/VMD or equivalent degree with several years of professional experience. MSc, and/or PhD degree and board certification/eligibility are preferred.

The successful candidate will mainly coordinate and teach own specialty courses and hold office hours for student mentoring. Dependent upon credit hours faculty may commit to additional teaching according to own interest and experience. All faculty members participate in faculty committees, and school governance.

We offer:
Small class size
Friendly and supportive small team of colleagues
Pension plan
Health insurance including dental plan
CE benefits
No obligation to perform research/publish
No income tax
Vacation time between semesters: at least 7 weeks per year

Ideal Starting date: beginning of 2019

Our students spend the first seven semesters on Grand Cayman and complete their final year of clinical rotations at one of our affiliate schools in the United States or Canada. We have a trimester system with three new classes per year.

The Cayman Islands are a British Overseas Territory and offer high-end first-world lifestyle. Grand Cayman is a one-hour plane ride to Miami. Living on Grand Cayman means you can enjoy year-long warm weather and the best beach in the world!

We would love to have you on our team!
