Expertise: My primary research interest is exploiting the therapeutic applications of mesenchymal stem cells in cancer therapy and autoimmune diseases. My current research focus is to explore the immune properties of mesenchymal stem cells derived from umbilical cord to treat inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) in companion animals and non-human primates using rat animal model of IBD.
